Welcome to TaskBell (“we”, “our”, “us”).
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the TaskBell mobile application (“App”) and related services.
By downloading, installing, or using TaskBell, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Use of the App

  • TaskBell is a productivity and reminder application designed to help users manage tasks and set alerts or notifications.
  • You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your data, reminders, and alert settings.
  • You must not use the App for unlawful purposes or to cause harm to others or the system.

2. No Guarantee of Performance or Accuracy

While we strive for reliability, TaskBell does not guarantee that:

  • Notifications or alarms will trigger at the precise time;
  • Tasks or reminders will be stored, synced, or delivered without delay or error;
  • The App will always function without bugs, interruptions, or data loss.

You understand and agree that occasional technical failures, software bugs, network delays, or device limitations may affect performance.

3. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • TaskBell, its developers, owners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the App.
  • This includes (but is not limited to) losses from missed reminders, missed payments, scheduling errors, business losses, penalties, fines, or other damages caused by any failure of the App.
  • The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

You acknowledge that you use TaskBell at your own risk.

4. User Responsibility

  • You are solely responsible for verifying and managing critical or time-sensitive events (e.g., medical doses, bill payments, legal deadlines, etc.) using independent means in addition to the App.
  • TaskBell is a productivity aid, not a guaranteed reminder or scheduling service.
  • You must ensure your device’s permissions, battery optimization, and notification settings allow the App to function properly.

5. Intellectual Property

  • All trademarks, content, logos, graphics, and source code related to TaskBell are the property of the developer(s).
  • Users are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the App solely for personal purposes.
  • Reverse-engineering, redistribution, or commercial use without written consent is prohibited.

6. Data & Privacy

  • TaskBell may collect limited non-personal data (e.g., app usage, crash analytics) to improve functionality.
  • Personal data (if any) will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • We do not sell or share user data with third parties except as required by law.

7. Modifications to the Terms

  • We may update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice.
  • The latest version will always be available within the App or on Google Playstore.
  • It is the user’s responsibility to review the Terms periodically. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any changes.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App at any time for maintenance, misuse, or security reasons, without prior notice.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and interpreted according to the laws of Mumbai , India.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mumbai, India.

10. App Updates and Upgrades

We regularly update TaskBell to improve features, performance, and stability. While every effort is made to ensure that upgrades install smoothly and retain your data, we do not guarantee that reminders, alarms, or user-entered information will always remain intact after an update or system change.
In rare cases, updates may result in the deletion, resetting, or modification of reminders or settings due to device compatibility, operating system changes, or unforeseen technical issues.
The developer(s) shall not be held responsible for any loss, missed reminders, or damages caused by such occurrences.

In future editions, we plan to introduce backup and restore functionality to help users preserve their data more reliably across updates.
Until then, users are advised to maintain their own copies of important reminders or data before performing upgrades.

11. Purchases and Advertisements

When you purchase the paid version of TaskBell (or make an in-app purchase), you receive ad-free access to the same set of core features already available in the free version.
The primary difference is removal of advertisements and potential access to additional quality-of-life enhancements.
However, all Terms and Conditions outlined here remain fully applicable to both free and paid versions of the App — including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and data handling provisions.
